It’s a Feudal, Feudal World Nominated for Silver Birch

Feudal cover April2013Today, It’s a Feudal, Feudal World was nominated for the Ontario Library Association’s Silver Birch award. The Silver Birch is a reader’s choice award that will be voted on by students in Grades 3 through 6 all across Ontario, and I’m incredibly honoured that the book was nominated. If you’re interested in the program, there’s more information on the OLA’s website here.

If you’ve happened to come to this blog for the first time, welcome. You can find most of my posts about It’s a Feudal, Feudal World under the book’s category, or through the middle ages tag. As for the rest, my previous boss described The Devil of History as a blog devoted to “randomness and history,” which sums things up pretty well.

  1. Congratulations, Stephen! The book looks really engaging and charming. The YouTube ad is terrific. Although the nomination is practically as good as the prize, hope you win!
